Ms. KrystalMs. Krystal, B.S, M.A, J.D., joined the St. Therese staff in 2019. She spent much of her previous academic and professional career in teaching roles ~ from early childcare in Colorado to elementary school substitute teacher in Missouri to Graduate Writing Instructor at the University of Central Missouri. She is the author of the children’s book, The Littlest Acorn (Exlibris, 2005).
The oldest of four, and mother of twin boys, Krystal has always enjoyed being with children. Teaching preschool has been her encore career for the past year. With a keen interest in inclusive learning environments and both cooperative and explorative play, she is grateful to teach at St. Therese, where all children are welcomed and encouraged to grow in faith and develop to their full potential. She works to build strong teacher-parent relationships and classroom lesson plans that keep children motivated and challenged.
When not teaching, Krystal enjoys traveling; spending time with her family; going for walks with her dog, Rusty; blogging for St. Brides Literary Group; and, kayaking or xcountry skiing on Lake Minnetonka.
Here are a few of her favorite things:
Color: Purple
Place: Home
Hobby: Writing
Food: Anything at Beanhaven, CōV, or Snuffy’s
Beverage: Caribou Moussed Caramel Cooler
Season: Winter
Movie: Frozen & Frozen II
